What does it treat?
Because Traditional Acupuncture aims to treat the whole person rather than specific symptoms in isolation, it can be effective for a huge range of conditions.

What to expect during a treatment
A full client history is taken on your first visit and your tongue and pulse will be examined on this and each subsequent session.
Needles will then be inserted in to the appropriate points and retained for approximately 20 minutes.
Acupuncture needles are very fine. You may feel a pricking sensation initially, followed by a dull, aching or tingling sensation around the points used. It is extremely uncommon for Acupuncture to be painful.
Most patients describe the experience as very relaxing.
The frequency and number of sessions required varies greatly and depends on many factors.
I work very closely with my patients to establish a treatment plan and then regularly monitor and review their progress.
How much does treatment cost?
A first treatment lasts approximately 90 minutes and costs £55.
Follow-up treatments last approximately 45 minutes and cost £42.
There is no requirement to book a block of sessions in advance, progress is monitored and reviewed and appointments made accordingly.
